Versatile Productions LLC is a Company developed by the Life of
its CEO/Founder Joe Jones. Forced to wear many hats and
keeping his options open gave Jones a foundation that he could
do anything he put his mind to. It stated with a dream to
become a Professional Baseball Player that landed Mr. Jones as
a 1986 Draft Choice of the St. Louis Cardinals Pro Baseball Team,
and as well a Participant in the College World Series in 1987.
Due to Injury, Jones had to pursue various Careers. Jones was an
Engineer for a General Contractor where he Built a 19,000 Sq ft
Parking Structure. He then became an LAPD Officer where he
received numerous accolades and commendations before he
retired due to Injury once again. During this time in 1993 Jones
began to host Large Events for the Police & Fire Departments of
Los Angeles that captured the attention of many. It was at this
time Versatile Productions was founded. Jones as well, would
provide Executive Protection and Bodyguard Services for such
celebrities as Jay-Z, Damon Dash, Bill Cosby, Johnnie Depp,
Magic Johnson, Lil Kim, Naz, Sean “Puffy” Combs, to name a few
as well as Corporate security for such Companies as Taco Bell,
CBS, Stamps.com, Fed-Ex, etc. With Production being Joneses
ultimate goal, he began to host The LA Social Club aka 1 st
Saturdays, A retreat for working professionals. He then created
The Love Jones Live, An event that focuses on relationships via
Poetry, Comedy and some of the most dynamic Singers in the
business.
