JoaQuin Yah IsraeL - Exclusive Interview - Thur, Feb 10, 2022 - 7pm

Joaquin Collins better known by his stage name JoaQuin Yah IsraeL,
developed a love for soul music at the age of eight. Most of his musical influences
includes gospel and positive secular recording artists, such as Sam Cooke, Al
Green, The O'Jays, The Temptations, David Ruffin, Yolanda Adams, Fred
Hammond, Smokie Norful Kirk Franklin. Last, but not least, the phenomenal late
Michael Jackson.
Growing up, JoaQuin endured hardships, such as living in18 different foster
homes and growing up without his biological parents being a vital part in his life.
He overcame these obstacles and continues to overcome many obstacles in his
personal life.
While living in an impoverished low-income neighborhood in Memphis,
Tennessee, he kept his focus on music and sports to overcome and survive
his environment. He got saved and baptized at eight years old.
At 20 years old, he re-dedicated his life and music to wholeheartedly serve Jesus
Christ.
JoaQuin is an alumnus from and of the Stax Music academy in Memphis,
Tennessee. Four times, he has been featured on American Idol. He portrays
himself in the Oscar award-winning documentary, Undefeated and in the
Christian film, The Grace Card with Louis Gossett, Jr. and Michael Higgenbottom.
Going back to his Southern Memphis roots of loving gospel and soul music,
JoaQuin brings his SSM (Spiritual Soul Music) neo-soul sound to the main stream
music market to captivate all audiences around the world. This young and soulful
gifted artist will take the music world by storm.
