Curtis “Binky” Womack is an internationally renowned music artist, veteran tour and
session guitarist, award-winning writer / producer, and nephew of the legendary R&B artist,
Bobby Womack. He has toured 5 continents and produced tracks for the likes of Eminem,
Snoop Dogg, Tupac, George Clinton, Babyface, TLC, Usher, and Bobby Womack.
Growing up in the environment of a famous uncle and father who were both musicians led
Binky directly into music. At age 4 he taught himself guitar basics and by age 12 he
achieved such a mastery of the instrument that his musician services were sought by
professional groups.
In addition to his self-taught skills at the guitar, Binky took up the trombone in grade school
and played in the Jazz Band and the Marching Band. His talent was so exceptional that he
was invited 9 years in a row to play in the All-City Marching Band.
During his teen years, Binky performed as a guitarist for a number of local professional
bands. But then at age 17 he got the call from Uncle Bobby to go on tour nationally and
overseas. So, for the next 10 years, he performed all around the world.
