Leslie D. May is an African American woman who resides in Contra Costa County. She is a mother, grandmother, and Godmother to many. She holds graduate degrees in health care administration, public administration, and clinical psychology. He educational journey continues as she pursues a doctorate of psychology degree this year.
She began writing many years ago but became a serious writer within the last several years. She specializes in writing fictions but will soon integrate a psycho-dynamic approach focusing on human emotions, grief, and trauma into her writings.
When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, gardening, is well known for her baking skills, and is active in her community. She is a presenter/speaker on various topics geared toward people-of-color and their ancestry.
The Affair: Diary of a Mistress is her debut novel and the first of a trilogy series with the second book she is in the process of completing. Her writings are psychologically focused to bring a realness to psychological issues people have faced for generations. It is a means to break generational psychological trauma in a way that will enlighten individuals and families.
She is a up and coming star that you should keep your eyes on!
